Note 2: Customer colors: Following steps will be followed to confirm the customer colors:
1. In case of matching a NEW Custom Color, send in a physical sample of the color to be matched to the WELLBOND® contact referenced below. A color sample on metal is preferred, but color samples on paper, plastic, or even an old piece of WELLBOND® are acceptable.
OR
1. In case of matching to an WELLBOND® Color ID number, or other paint manufacturer's ID number, this needs to be indicated or confirmed with the WELLBOND® Contact listed below.
2. For NEW Custom Colors, your WELLBOND® color specialist will contact the coil coating paint suppliers with the match request, and they will develop the custom color samples, which are specially formulated for WELLBOND®. There is normally a 1-week lead time for sample color development.
3. Upon return of the color match from the paint supplier, the formulations are reviewed prior to shipment to you for final approval. For your convenience, the samples are sent to you via overnight courier.
Once you approve, WELLBOND® team will take care of the rest for you!
